Curious about Random Albums

This is kind of random, but as someone who gets most of its guesses via the "Random Albums" tab, I have been wondering if there is an algorithm to the random albums. I keep noticing the same albums appear in a 12-24 hour time frame and was curious if that was coincidental or if there was so coding to delibrately do that. Not really important or anything, just urious over this lol

It should be coincidental, but maybe the RNG I'm using is defective or something. There is definitely no deliberate attempt to have the randomness be less random.
I've actually been wanting to redo the randomness for a while now since the way I'm doing it generates lots of unnecessary database traffic for very little payoff.
