Gosh I'd love to use my phone

Title says it all, as many of us don't have a tablet ( I guess ? ), the use of the phone screen to draw would be quite convenient. But I suppose doing something like that is too complicated.
However i'm burying myself somewhere, wake me up when that would eventually be done.SaltbearerPosted on 4/19/2015 at 5:01 AM
I exclusively use an Android phone. As far as I can tell, the only thing preventing the draw pad from working in Chrome Beta is that the browser thinks I'm trying to scroll the page. Can that be overridden?
I was able to get through the first five albums with Puffin Browser's theater mode, which locks onto the pad, and then I switched to drawing apps.AdminPosted on 4/19/2015 at 7:26 AM
Not an unreasonable request. Saltbearer is probably right in that it would work as long as I could tell the phone that you don't want to scroll when you drag you finger across the drawing area. Overriding default behaviors like that is frowned upon but that's the only way I'd be able to do it.
I'll see if I can get that working.
A mobile version of the site is also in the works, although by "in the works", I mean "I haven't even started working on it."GrooveitPosted on 4/19/2015 at 2:49 PM
Oh, I see. This might be possible after all...
I'm going ahead and i'll also ask you a ps4, xbox, 3ds version of the site. I'd love to have it on the Snes aswell.
plz
I don't know much about drawing apps but I got this nice one called SketchBook X i'll be using that to draw more and better (I hope)SaltbearerPosted on 4/19/2015 at 4:45 PM
Very nice set of features, but unbelievably buggy. Anticipate crashes, save often, and avoid overusing the fill tool. Allows you to make the canvas square, but it's probably lying about its size. You can unlock some Pro brushes by making several user brushes and quickly tapping one and switching to another brush menu. It'll activate the brush in the same slot on the other menu, then you can save the brush as a user brush. It'll probably crash if you go straight to drawing with a locked brush. Also, lotsa JPEG. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.corel.painter
Minimal drawing tools, but lots of post processing effects. Can resize and convert to PNG. Crashes /less/ often. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pcvirt.ImageEditorWolfPosted on 4/19/2015 at 9:49 PM
You could potentially make this site into an app too
Kinda like Draw SomethingAdminPosted on 4/20/2015 at 11:38 AM
@Wolf It does have that potential. I would need to get my server issues 100% sorted out before I started thinking about making an app, but I would definitely like to do that some day.
