Minor Annoyance

so it's been like 8 months since i last went on this site and played, and one thing that's really annoying is guessing an album without realizing i've already guessed it 8 months prior. it's kinda annoying, especially considering how many albums i had originally guessed when i first started playing. maybe there should be a time limit on guessing the same album instead of a full lifetime ban. yes it would mean people could guess the same albums for free points but people have apparently already figured out ways to do that anyway. not to mention there's only so many albums in the world that people are going to reasonably guess, especially within the circles that the website is spread across.

Yeah this gets brought up repeatedly and it comes down to how the back-end of the site was initially developed. Changing it now to better track duplicate albums would be a lot of work. At some point I do want to get back into actively developing features for this site and something like this would be on the list.
