How about some way of awarding drawings based on the quality? For example, some kind of rating system where users can rate each album they guess from 1-5 stars. (5 stars being 100 points) Or maybe extra points based on favourites.

A major part of the game is having the albums badly drawn. Or at least in different states of "badness" to add difficulty and personality.
Awarding points for quality would encourage trace-overs and sap the charm and humour out of the MS Paint quality of the drawings.GhandhiLionPosted on 2/2/2015 at 11:31 AM
Good point. Strange you would say that when the admin him/herself has what I would consider to be high quality album drawings.

@GhandhiLion I'm a him.
I thought about offering extra points to the artist every time an album got favorited, but such a system could be abused. Unlike drawing and guessing albums, which take some amount of effort/knowledge, favoriting an album takes just one click.
Good drawings should definitely be encouraged; hopefully the favorite system is enough encouragement in that regard.
