What about stuff like compilation albums, though? I feel like putting "Various Artists" on the album cover would clarify what to put for the artist field, since there's no specification for what to do in those situations in the FAQ. People might type "Various" or something instead.

try just putting "v.a." or "different people" or something like that. i feel like just saying "various artists" defeats the purpose a little.

Putting "Various Artists" on the drawing is fine since the hint it gives isn't that useful. This is another thing I should probably clarify in the FAQ.
